i have pretty high standards & you should too

  • Competition Grade --> If you have to ask how much, you probably can't afford it (and neither can I 😂)

  • Imperial Grade --> Almost world class stuff, probably. This would sell at 2.5x the price in the USA. Insane markups

  • Heritage Grade --> Remember that one time you had an incredible matcha latte in Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka (cos you probably haven’t been anywhere else in Japan)? Follow the recipe and you too could pretend to be cultured. This will rival up to mid-tier matchas from many Japanese brands, but at literally half the price

  • Signature Grade --> My personal minimum standard. This will change your perspective on both matcha and hojicha forever. Confused on what to order? Just start with the tsuyuhikari blend & get the heritage grade hojicha too. I promise you'll love both. You can try the okumidori blend next time when you come back 😏

  • Premium Grade --> A budget friendly option probably better than the "best matcha" and "best hojicha" products from most other local brands but without the insane markups. I only stock this occasionally for those looking for a more affordable option and as proof that you don't need to shell out $$$ for good matcha

“Ceremonial Grade” matcha means nothing and an overused, unregulated marketing term. Everything I offer surpasses the bare minimum “ceremonial grade”

Feel free to any questions or if you just want to chat about food-related topics or recipes. It doesn't even need to be about matcha and you don't even need to buy my stuff; I’m not the one that's missing out 🤷🏻‍♂️

This will be the best value stuff for the money. My priorities are flavour first; no compromises. Colour and grind size come later. and other aspects come later
